I bought my JG 100 T3 K3 rifle from Airsoft Megastore (due to its price) and have been extremely satisfied with its performance over my other AEGs. This rifle is almost an accurate replica of the H&K G3 rifle. It's extremely good at outdoor skirmishes and even used it at CQB indoors. A lot of people don't like its length but having been trained in the military using longer rifles like the M1 and M16 (old school) and being an adult at 5'-6" I don't find any problem with it. With presence of mind as to what your hands are holding and what you're running into you should be able to maneuver this rifle through vegetation, doors and other obstacles without damaging some of its plastic components. I would suggest always holding the forward of the plastic barrel housing (as one would a rifle) when running around with it and slipping the hand back towards the magazine when aiming and firing. This somehow protects the plastic barrel housing when maneuvering.PROS:
1) Accuracy, range and rate of fire: The advantage of this rifle is its accuracy, range and rate of fire. With 0.25g and heavier BBs the accuracy gets better. I have observed that this rifle also has a better range (by a few more feet) that works well with its accuracy compared with the shorter AEGs. While the shorter AEGs' BB flight fall short I just step back and taking advantage of the BB trajectory I could reach the opposing team with single shots. Out of the box it fired between 360-380 fps. JG's claims of 450 fps could be a bit exaggerated and I would NOT necessarily recommend 0.12 BBs just to get the FPS up. In my opinion, the mass of the BB (grams) does play a factor in the BBs flight and accuracy.
2) Magazine: Though I favor mid capacity magazines more and don't like winding, magazines for it are either low capacity or high capacity (let me know if there's a midcap somewhere). The supplied magazine is a high cap 500 round mag. 2 of this magazine fits in the real Bundeswehr (modern German Army) G3 flektarn magazine pouch and the Vietnam era M14/M16 mag pouches perfectly.
CONS:
1) Plastic barrel housing, buttstock and other parts have to be guarded against damage. Don't tumble on it or bang it against corners or trees. Unlike its full metal counterparts the T3 K3 is a bit delicate for rough handling.
2) Orange threaded tip is also a pain and didn't last me a game when I rested the rifle on its tip (not a good practice). It can only be removed with a lot of heat application from an industrial type handheld heat blower by a technician. Also, JG does a good job of filling up the threaded tip completely with glue. After this a flash hider can be installed. However, the orange tip is mandatory by law and one should always be aware of this.
Overall, I love this rifle such that I installed a genuine 1958 leather G3 strap on it and completed my Bundeswehr webbing and outfit. I hope this review does help.
