This glove is as advertised and is probably the best glove for the money on the market. It came pre-oiled and slightly broken in. It still needs 2-3 more weeks of catching, moving and bending to obtain the perfect pocket. I purchased as part of my baseball coaching since I had been using a monster 13 in. softball glove for a number of years until I hurt my catching shoulder this past winter. I decided to purchase a lighter, smaller glove that I could use, break-in and potentially pass down to my younger sons when they needed to move to a larger glove. I highly recommend Mizuno baseball gloves. We have had Easton, Rawlings, Spaulding and Zett baseball gloves and I believe this glove ranks higher in terms of craftsmenship and leather. I hope it holds up to the wear and tear of baseball for a number of years!
