Do not attempt to erect this on a windy day. You'll blow away like a kite and end up in a hungry tree.My wife has put this up on multiple occasions with the "help" of a four year old boy. It's not easy, but it's do-able. Definitely easier with two people.
10x10 is rather spacious when no picnic table is involved. When placed over the picnic table at our favorite national park, the quarters become much more cramped. We typically only do this in order to get dinner on the table or dishes washed while it's raining.
The fine mesh/veil material does get pulls and snags easily, but that's to be expected. No holes yet, despite encounters with wineberries and rosebushes and the aforementioned four year old child. The shade is nice. We opened up both doors and rolled up the side window flaps by day to let the breeze flow through. It was a nice respite from the sun.
When fully staked out with real stakes (not the included short, pretend stakes) and all four guy lines, it easily withstood mild thunderstorms. We took it down before the doozy of a storm, though, so we can't report on that. Zip the doors shut before staking, otherwise you may pull it off kilter. And do use better stakes/spikes/pegs. We stake out the corners with 10" steel spikes and the middle of the tent with 9-10" yellow tent pegs (visibility). We typically use the yellow pegs for guylines, too. We did try using the short aluminum stakes with the guylines, but they didn't hold well in a mild breeze.
It's not completely waterproof, but we didn't expect it to be.
It does actually fold back up to go in the bag.
Overall we're quite happy with this and would recommend it to friends.
