Product Description

The ESEE Laser Strike with Canvas Micarta handle is a solid all-around utility survival knife capable of handling almost any outdoor chore. It features a 5" spear point blade crafted from 1095 tool steel and given a black powder coat finish. The spear point is ideal from drilling and piercing tasks yet has the belly for slicing. The canvas micarta handle has front finger grooves for controlled cutting and is hollow with fire steel and tinder tabs enclosed. Includes a black Kydex sheath and clip plate for carry. Made in USA. Additional description: The Laser Strike (LS) from ESEE has a black finished 1095 steel blade with jimping and index choil. The canvas Micarta scales have a bow drill divot and are removable with the included washer. Inside the handles are a magnesium/ferro rod and tinder tabs. The Kydex sheath has an adjustable sheath tensioner, paracord lanyard with lock and ambidextrous clip plate.

This is truly the most useful and functional "wilderness" blade out there. It is the right design with the right length and blade style. It has an awesome sheath and the handle comes with the fire starter and tabs plus I added fishing line and two hooks. It feels very good in the hand. 1095 steel is great for the outdoors and ESEE does a fantastic job with their heat treat...it is really tough! I have the 5/6 MOLLE back to attach with the sheath for the complete system. This is the knife when I am out in the wilderness.
