Took it out to range to sight in. It was attached to a DPMS sportical ar-15. The scope was mounted with the laser illuminator mounted on it. Sighting in was easy once I was able getan impact I could see. I had to remove upper receiver from lower and look down barrel to target to see how far scope was. Way off but adjustable on to the target and at 50 yards able to shoot a 5 shot group and cover it with a quarter. At present no issue with scope. The laser illuminator didn't seem to be able to take the shock and stopped working. This was the first time actually firing with the scope mounted and it was a real disapointment that it didn't make it past sighting in.
The concept is outstanding and amazon sold another one based on me showing a guy I work with mine. With the illuminator you can see the scope reticles clearly along with your target in the dark. The sight picture and clearness was enough to sell another one. But all of the looks good that is neat stuff has to be tested on a rifle at the range. And on a rifle firing at a target this fails. We were planning on a night hog or coyote hunt but I wouldn't trust this stuff in the field at night. I would not buy another one of these and would not recommend anyone buy one either. The concept was spot on and I would pay more(looks like I'm going to have to) to have this capability.
