Got this for our 4 year old to practice her gymnastics at home. She just goes to formal classes once a week and this is a great way for her to practice her balance beam exercises at home.

The beam is very light and easy to move around,even for my daughter. Yet it feels quite firm even when her big chubby daddy walks on it! Since it's so low to the floor there's no real risk of falls or injury.

On the down side, it would be nice if it folded in the middle, like some other models do, to facilitate storage. Also, the exercises are a bit limited since it sits on the floor my daughter can't do the 'ice cream scoop' exercise where you dip one foot off the side and back up. I don't think this would be ideal for advanced or older gymnasts, but for our needs it's really nice.
