Vulkan White Pro Light Kimono (Gi) - A4 Review

Nice gi out of the bag, very light but still feels sturdy. Pretty rigid collar, nice patches without being over the top, and nice drawstring for the pants. The pants themselves are much more like cloth than my past pair of gi pants which were much more canvas-feeling.

I took a chance on an A1... I'm 5'6'' 175 and previously wore a Gameness A2 for 8 years. I'm consider myself a stocky guy so gis can be hard to fit, but the A1 fits nicely so far after 5-10 washes and air drying. I know the gi says pre-shrunk but nobody wants a child's sized gi so I'm still afraid to dry it. If I had to complain about fit, I think the shoulders are on the narrow side but otherwise it's a solid gi. Just hope it stands the test of time like my last one.

The Original Fun Noodle Monster Noodle Rounds Review

These fun noodles never made it to the pool so I cannot comment on how well they float... Rather, they were used to construct foam swords. The noodles were carved and slid over a PVC pipe and duct taped in place. For this application they worked fairly well and it was an easy and quick way for a novice foam-smith to get started with their first weapon.

And, after making the swords they were used for "gladiator battles" and every weapon held up with none of the foam tearing.
We did tape over the entire surface of the foam lengthwise and added a block of open cell foam on the end to make a soft stabbing tip and overall the desired affect was achieved and hours of fun were had.

The reason for 4 out of 5 star rating is because the hole of the noodle was a bit larger than expected. The PVC pipe had a bit of wiggle room. This was resolved by wrapping the pipe in a couple layers of tape to fatten it up, but other noodles do have a snugger fit this this application.

Overall though, these were a solid product for our purposes and if possible I'd rather give it a 4.5 out of 5 stars.

Tahoe Gear Zion 8 Person Family Tent with Screen Porch Review

This tent is Huge! People often comment on the "hotel" that we are setting up. We purchased this at the beginning of the summer and have used it at least a dozen times. It's very easy to set up and can be done by one person, although it's best to have two in a windy situation.
This tent is not free standing. It needs to be staked down to keep its shape.
It's great for leisure camping. I wouldn't recommend it for hiking trips or even overnight trips because it's so large.
We have used it at several music festivals and family trips. I am very pleased with this purchase.
